Hello,

My name is Tabitha Kim Carlson. I am a "practicing mother" of five special creatures. Otherwise, know as children/young adults. Their ages range from 4 - 18 yrs old. Currently, I am homeschooling three of the five. I love spending time in nature. Some of my favorite resting spots are in the woods and near rivers. Knitting, journaling, mediation, listening, learning, insects, animals, plants, children, elders, people, massage, music and dance are some of the things I find myself drawn to.

I was given Marshall's book 12 years ago. Read it, enjoyed it and put it on a shelf. On occasion I would read sections of the book and put it back on the shelf. Two years ago I began attending a practice group which I currently still attend. I have been to a three day intro training with Marshall Rosenberg in 2008, a three day intro training with Susan Skye in 2008, a five week telecourse training on The Living Energy in the Beauty of the Needs with Robert Gonzales, a five day training with Dominic Barter on Restorative Circles in 2008, a five week telecourse on Focusing with Ann Cornell Weiser and am currently finishing Level Two.

Living in the consciousness of this work is of great value to me. It is something I practice and share with myself, family, and friends. I long to live in a co-created community where all people are responsible for their thoughts and actions in creating a quality of connection where all peoples needs are equally valued and met through compassionate giving.
