Welcome to Great River NVC

We are delighted you have chosen to explore the practice of Nonviolent Communication here in the Midwestern United States, where the Great Mississippi River begins.

Nonviolent Communication is an effective practice that involves using language in a way that holds everyone's needs gently. NVC is flourishing here and throughout the world, within individuals, and between family, friends, associates, groups and nations.

Nonviolent Communication provides an easy to understand, effective practice that helps us to get to the roots of violence, pain and conflict in relationships. By examining the unmet needs behind our actions and words, we are empowered to reduce hostility, heal pain and improve professional and personal relationships.

NVC is being taught around the world in corporations, prisons, schools, non-profit organizations and mediation centers, to name a few. International peacemaker and founder of the Center for Nonviolent Communication, Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, spends his time and energy teaching NVC around the world with more than 250 certified trainers worldwide. We welcome you joining us on the journey of improving the quality of personal and professional relationships, one conversation at a time.
